Join us at the Purdue FIRST Forums on September 21st at the Wilmeth Active Learning Center (WALC) for a fun, educational experience where teams can learn from seasoned FIRST members and mentors. Get excited about the upcoming FTC & FRC seasons!
This event offers teams a chance to visit Purdue and dive deeper into STEM, team-building, and essential FIRST skills.
Throughout the day, speakers will present on various FIRST topics in separate classrooms. Each session includes a 50-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute break. We’ll also have an hour-long lunch break in the middle of the day.
FIRST Robotics Competition Event Preferencing
Round 1 of FRC Event Preferencing will start Thursday, September 26 at Noon Eastern and close Thursday, October 3 at Noon Eastern.
There will be a zoom call on Tuesday, September 10 at 7PM Eastern for any interested coaches to go over how preferencing works and how to access the system in your dashboard.
Mysite Shipping Increases
Please note the increases to FRC kit “mysite” shipping. These increases make it even more important to pick a kickoff location and work with other teams in your area to share in picking up kits of parts.
Make sure to know what you are getting this season and when Kit and Kickoff opens later this month get your kickoff location selected. Visit the kit and kickoff page on the FIRST website to learn about surrogate pickup process, etc.
Contact Chris Osborne – cosborne@firstindianarobotics.org if you have questions about this.
