Trisha Thompson Departs FIRST Indiana Robotics 

Today, we share bittersweet news as we bid farewell to a beloved member of our team. After four years of dedicated service and commitment to youth in STEM across the state, Trisha Thompson is stepping away from her role at FIRST Indiana Robotics to accept a new position with Northeast Elementary.Trisha Thompson

During her time on staff, Trisha has been a tireless advocate for FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge, building strong relationships with teams, helping grow programs across the state, and improving our communication. Her passion for STEM education, warmth, and dedication made a lasting impact on our community and inspired young innovators across the state.

“Trisha’s energy and commitment to our youth  have been a driving force behind countless successful events and student experiences. Her presence will be greatly missed,” said Chris Osborne, Director of Programs.

We are immensely grateful for the legacy Trisha leaves behind—one filled with mentoring, collaboration, and excellence. While we’re sad to see her go, we’re also excited for her next chapter and confident she will shine in her new role.
