The CENTERSTAGE competition season is just getting underway, and we’re already looking toward next year.

We’ve gotten a lot of feedback about event locations this season, and we’re using that information to plan for next year.

Dean’s List

It’s time to start working on those Dean’s List Nominations!  The nomination window will close Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET.  We encourage all teams with eligible members (10th/11th graders) to nominate two students.  Dean’s List Pins will be passed out at events for our nominees to wear.

Qualifying Tournament Checklist

Before Going

Prepare for Inspection

  • Review the Inspection Forms from Game Manual Part 1, Appendix A
  • Make sure your robot fits in an 18″ x 18″ x 18″ sizing box (How to make your own)

Prepare for Judging

Upon Arrival

  • Go to Team Check-In
  • Turn in your printed roster
  • Receive your team packet

Qualifying Tournament Payment Information

You can pay your QT Registration fees by credit card or generate an invoice at https://pay.firstindianarobotics.org/

  1. Select “FTC Qualifying Tournament Registration”
  2. Type in your team number
  3. Click “Add to Cart” (If you have multiple teams, you can change the team number and add multiple registrations to your cart.)
  4. From here you can checkout via credit card, or select “Print an Invoice” (You can also download a copy of our W-9 from this screen) You can print a paper copy of your invoice, or print to pdf to email a copy.

Checks should be made out to FIRST Indiana Robotics, and can be mailed to:

Please include a copy of your invoice with the check, and write your team number on the check to ensure correct recordkeeping.
